"We've all seen countless people present on stage. Lindsay delivers a keynote.”

"Engaging, story-driven, dynamic messages that inspire. It's been a week and I'm still thinking about her words, insights, and challenge to her audience. Run, do not walk to book her for your next event.”

Signature Session

The Difference Is BRAVE

Build and lead on your own terms

You may be an expert in achieving goals you never stopped to question. A bigger business. Exponential revenue growth. Outside investment and a fancy cap table. But have you stopped to consider whose definition of success you’re achieving?

Lindsay Tjepkema explores that question through her experience founding and leading a venture-backed company - raising capital, serving enterprise customers, growing a team - and ultimately choosing to leave when it had become something she no longer recognized. Drawing on her book, Human Brands Win, she pairs those hard-earned lessons with valuable frameworks and stories of entrepreneurs pursuing ambitious goals on their own terms.

In this interactive session, attendees question inherited expectations, define their criteria for success, and apply Lindsay’s BRAVE framework (Brand, Relationships, Audacity, Values, and Energy) to a real decision. They leave with a practical guide for leading their businesses, teams, and careers to success on their own terms.

Audience Takeaways:

  • Define success on your terms. A new approach to defining what you’re building toward and what you’re unwilling to sacrifice to get there.

  • Make advice earn its place. Evaluate outside expectations and opportunities against your vision, values, and the people your business serves.

  • Make your next decision BRAVE. Apply Brand, Relationships, Audacity, Values, and Energy to examine a real decision and its tradeoffs.

More than a speaker

Every engagement includes a customized session, supplemental promotional content, and strategic content planning to extend the impact after Lindsay leaves the stage.

Event organizers also have special access to bulk orders of the book Human Brands Win, coming February 2027.

WHY  |

Your audience of founders and leaders doesn't need another speaker telling them what successful companies did. They need someone to equip them to do it their way. Someone who has actually been there, built something real, and come out the other side knowing what actually works.

That's me.

I spent twenty years building brands for some of the biggest companies in the world before doing the thing most brand strategists only advise on: founding my own venture-backed company. I raised millions in venture capital, led through a global pandemic, and landed enterprise clients including Salesforce, IBM, and HubSpot. I've spoken at SXSW, INBOUND, and B2BMX. I've been named 40 Under 40 twice, in two different states. I host Actually, I Can, a podcast about founders who were told they couldn't and did it anyway. And I wrote Human Brands Win, a book and methodology for founders who want to build on their own terms.

When I take the stage, I don't perform expertise. I amplify it in others. With specificity, warmth, and the kind of directness that makes audiences feel seen and equipped at the same time.

Every person in that room will leave feeling more confident in blazing their own entrepreneurial trail, equipped tools they can use the next day. Not inspiration that fades on the drive home..
